Apartment – Costa del Sol – La Cala de Mijas

Modern, nice apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, centrally located in the coastal village of La Cala de Mijas, only 800 m from the sea. The residential area (Alamar) is located within convenient walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The popular village of La Cala de Mijas has a genuine Spanish character with nice  squares and restaurant areas along the beach.

The apartment has a modern light style with a living room that leads onto the large terrace. The terrace is about 40 square meters and is fenced with a lockable gate. The full kitchen is bright and fresh with granite countertops. The apartment has ceramic floors and two nice bathrooms fully tiled. Air conditioning and central heating in all the rooms of the apartment. The residential area has a lovely large pool (20 meters from the terrace) to relax in as well as your own paddle tennis court (reservation free of charge at the security guard). The apartment is very well suited for families or two couples! The area is fenced and has a 24-hour security, there are many parking spaces outside the houses, which means that you can always park a car in direct proximity to the apartment. A well-stocked Lidl shop with its own butchers is available only 150-200 meters from the apartment.

La Cala de Mijas has over 100 restaurants in the village, good service and a well-kept beach. A wonderful beach promenade has been built from La Cala de Mijas which ties together the various coastal villages - you walk easily all the way to the Riviera del Sol, Calahonda and to the pleasant marina of Cabopino with its restaurants and beach lifestyle. This distance is about 6 kilometers long.

In the immediate vicinity there is the 9-hole golf course La Noria Golf - within a few kilometers there are 18-hole courses such as El Chaparral and Calanova Golf. Within 10 miles there are over 60 golf courses, a handful of these counts as some of the worlds best. A few kilometers from the village is also a horse race track for those with interest in horses.

The town of Fuengirola is only 9 km east of the village - west, the well-known and exclusive city of Marbella is only 20 km away. Marbella has the most extensive offer on the Costa del Sol of amusement, restaurant life and exclusive shops.

Malaga Airport can be reached in just 25 minutes drive (33 km) - it is also possible to use public transport by train from the airport to Fuengirola and then by bus to La Cala de Mijas. Public transport is normally every 30 minutes during the day and slightly less often in the evenings. The bus stop is about 200 meters from the apartment, which means that you can manage without a car in a simple way!

Apartment

General: The apartment is modern with 3 rooms, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with connection to a small laundry room with washing machine. Unique is the really large terrace, partially covered why the shadow is always there no matter the time of day. Sliding doors to the terrace from the living room and both bedrooms. Centrally controlled air conditioning and central heating in all the rooms of the apartment.

Hall: In the hall there is a drawer and hooks to hang clothes on. In the drawer, the remote control is located to open the large car port needed to enter the area to park a car.

Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, stovetop with fan, oven and plenty of work surfaces. 

Bedroom no. 1 with attached bathroom: In this bedroom there is a double bed of 180 x 200 cm, bedside table with lamps and a larger wardrobe. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet and bath with shower.

Bedroom no. 2 with attached bathroom: In this bedroom there is a double bed of 150 x 190 cm, bedside table with lamps and a larger wardrobe. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower.

Living room: The living room has a dining table with seating for 4-6 people, a sofa with two armchairs, the sofa is a sofa bed that seats 2 people. There is a TV set with 32 inch TV.

Nordic channel package and a modem with fiber for Wifi. 

Terrace: The terrace is fantastic and is about 40 sqm. Here are 2 sun beds with a small table between them. A sitting area with 2-seater sofa and two armchairs and a table as well as a food group with room for 6 people. The entire terrace is fenced and is positioned 70-80 cm above ground level.

Others in the residential area: 20-30 meters from the terrace is the areas communal pool. A big pool about 15 x 10 meters with deep 120 cm at the shallow side and 230 cm at the deep side. A swimming pool that you can dive into. The pool has a dark blue color so that the water will get hot faster. The swimming pool is open all year except for two weeks around Christmas when it is emptied for maintenance. There is a paddle tennis court that you can book at the guard cage. There are many parking spaces available throughout the area, which can be used free of charge. To park a car in direct proximity to the apartment here is no problem.
